Gambling Harm in the Workplace: Awareness, Recognition and Response

Gambling-related harm can affect much more than an individual’s finances. Within the workplace, it may contribute to declining concentration, absenteeism, emotional distress, repeated borrowing, safety concerns, family-related crises and increased organisational vulnerability.

Managers and workplace professionals may notice some of these difficulties without knowing how to respond. Some warning signs may be ignored, while others may be incorrectly treated as proof of addiction or misconduct.

This practical self-paced programme equips participants to recognise possible gambling-related workplace harm and respond in a fair, supportive and proportionate manner.
